Audit Senior (Project Based)

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in audit
  • Have experience to all aspects of balance sheet and income statement audit
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.

Associates

A career with Echtual immediately sets you apart from the rest of your peers. Our comprehensive training program aims to let you take charge of an audit assignment in the shortest time possible; which can be as short as 10 weeks! Compared to other firms, this will usually take you up to two years.

​Your responsibilities will include :
  • ​Carrying out quality audit and other assurance services to clients in multiple industries.
  • Obtaining all necessary evidence including researching and documenting facts and findings.
  • Review transactions, documents, records, reports, and methods for accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Prepare quality working papers that record and summarize data on the assigned audit segment and/or the audit engagement.
  • Hold preliminary and final discussions of apparent deficiencies with operating personnel to verify and obtain explanations of and reasons for each apparent deficiency and document responses.
  • Report audit findings and make recommendations for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions, improvements in operations, and/or reductions in cost.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with the relevant Financial Reporting Standards
  • Prepare corporate tax computations and forms
  • Assist in business valuation engagements
  • Assist in advisory engagements

Requirements

  •  Diploma or Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accountancy or Full ACCA.
  • Strong business awareness and an ability to identify audit issues arising from commercial transactions.
  • Team player, with the ability to multi-task, flexible and can work under pressure.
  • Socially confident with good organisation skills.
  • Self starter with good analytical skills, attention to details and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.

Junior Associates

Specially curated for candidates under the Work Study Degree Programme, you can now learn the tools of the trade while pursuing your part-time accountancy degree. Upon graduation and successful performance appraisal, you will be invited to join us as an Associate.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist in carrying out quality audit and other assurance services to clients in multiple industries.
  • Assist in obtaining all necessary evidence including researching and documenting facts and findings.
  • Prepare acceptable working papers that record and summarize data on the assigned audit segment and/or the audit engagement.
  • Hold preliminary discussions of apparent deficiencies with operating personnel to verify and obtain explanations of and reasons for each apparent deficiency and document responses.
  • Assist in the reporting of audit findings and recommendations for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions, improvements in operations, and/or reductions in cost.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with the relevant Financial Reporting Standards for review
  • Prepare corporate tax computations and forms for review
  • Perform cloud accounting functions

  • Pursuing an accredited degree under the Work Study Degree Programme
